Nestled within hidden inlets of the Long Island Sound in Darien, Connecticut, our guest house is located on a tranquil 10-acre property overlooking the water, offering a peaceful and spiritual environment for retreats or getaways, with woodland walks, gardens, stone hermitage, and a private dock with an adjacent bathhouse. Our Guest House is open all year round with various spaces for individuals and groups and meals for the day and overnight guests.

Our Mission
Unity is our mission. Namely, the re-establishment of unity of all Christians in accord with the ecumenical principles of the Vatican Counsel’s very own reaction to the sorrowful prayer of Jesus:
"Father, that all may be one. Hasten O Lord, the union of Christians: hear the prayers of your humble Bridgettine which are consecrated to you for these intentions."

The Sisters welcome members of all faiths who desire a place of rest for inner renewal. Singles, couples, families and groups.

Our Vikingsborg Guest House is a popular setting for artists and academics, as well as those who just want to get away for a while.

Comfortable single and double rooms with private baths are available, most with breathtaking views of the Long Island Sound.
